After the impeachment process and the house is over President Trump should purge the entire state department and fire everyone he’s legally able to fire. The permanent bureaucracy needs to feel intense pain in order to remember that they carry out the orders of people we elect.

The Official Foreign Policy of the US is determined by POTUS, exclusively, not the State Dept.
And it can be carried out by ANY agent of POTUS, public or private.
Only in the case of Treaty does any other element of government get a vote.

The President would have a legal obligation to investigate this “crime” So if it is a crime, Trump was doing his duty, it is is NOT a crime what Biden did it would still need to be investigated to verify. In either case Trump is not guilty of anything.
It is either a crime or it is not. It cannot be a crime for Trump but not for Biden. If it is a crime, Trump is legally obligated to help investigate Bidens actions. .
Either way there is no legal standing to this continuing farce in the US House.
The Official Foreign Policy of the United States is, in the minds of the Establishment, Deep State, Whatever, the province of the permanent dinezens of the State Department and the intelligence agencies. Presidents are only hired to put a face on it. Presidents are not allowed to interfere with the Official Foreign Policy of the United States. A President who thinks he makes foreign policy and who interferes with the programs and goals of the Permanent Government is abusing his power and should be Removed by impeachment or some other method.
