Wonder if the admiral ran his decision to revoke the trident by the Secretary of the Navy. If he did, then Spencer’s butt, too, should be on the line.
Too many military officers embedded in politics and on personal power trips. Admiral Green is one of many who have forgotten their main duty is to serve the country and not their own ego driven ambitions!
I saw the Sec of the Navy on Lou Dobbs last night.
Could not believe Dobbs did not ask any questions
regarding the Navy Seals or Rear Adm Green.

I doubt he will, but, if he did, a formal process would be a more proper way of doing it. That’s my opinion, anyway.

I hope so but if not this a battle the Command-in-Chief must fight and win. He simply cannot allow a subordinate to overrule him. And he must force the admiral into immediate retirement.

The tweet is good but its just talk. Trump needs to ACT decisively and quickly against the insubordinate admiral. Questioning the Command-in-Chief’s order cannot be tolerated.
firing the admiral will have the collateral benefit of sending a message to the rest of the bureaucracy: I can and will remove you if you try to undermine me.
Sounds like a plan. Insubordination is unacceptable no matter where in the chain of command you sit. Next step weed him out.

I don’t care if he is happy or not. I do care that he shows decisiveness and fires the admiral without hesitation.
A tweet is no substitute for the type of action that is necessary in this case. Our adversaries around the world are watching this very closely to see how Trump handles the situation. Many foreign leaders will perceive weakness if he fails to act and that is dangerous for all of us.
