The party was held at the Capitol Hill establishment Hawk ‘n’ Dove, just a stone’s throw from where the impeachment hearings were held this week.
About 15 staffers celebrated with Democrat counsel Daniel Goldman, with at least four rounds of cheers. There was a table topped with hamburger sliders and other snacks.
The crew seemed to be in good spirits — many laughing and smiling. It was not clear whether they thought the public hearings went well, or because they were relieved the marathon week of days-long hearings was over.
The staffers were in a cordoned-off section of the bar upstairs. Sean Misko, a House Intelligence Committee staffer and former National Security Council official, was there.
The party started approximately at 6:30 p.m. ET and wrapped up around 8:00 p.m. ET.
Goldman himself seemed to be in a good mood, smiling and chatting with staffers, and staying until the end.
On Saturday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) portrayed the impeachment inquiry as a somber event:

According to numerous polls, the longer impeachment drags on, the more support Trump gains, especially in battleground states. I don’t think that’s the effect Schiff was aiming for. It’s amazing that the Democrats are following him off a cliff for the second time. After Schiff lied to them about having evidence of Trump colluding with Russia, you’d think these people would know better.
A patron outside of the bar noted how packed it was inside, considering the busy week of impeachment hearings. He noted that he thought he saw a “dead ringer” for Goldman enter the bar.
Did they play “pin the tail on the a*******?” They would have been there all night.
It was like the last Dem fundraiser they held at Kentucky Fried Chicken. All they served was left wings and as*******s”.
If there was no impeachment going on, the drunks working on Capital Hill, would still find a reason to get drunk.
Even though the hearings failed to prove anything. It was all based on hearsay and imagined conversations from people who hate President Trump.
The Democrats some how believe they proved to America President Trump is guilty.
What the...???
So I expect the Democrats, without a shred of evidence, will still impeach President Trump.
I find myself wondering do they know the U.S. Senate will remove him and that is what they are really celebrating? In other words have Deep Staters blackmailed enough Senators to remove President Trump?
Again what are the celebrating?
There’s been nothing ‘somber’ about having such a cavalier attitude while trying to impeach a sitting president with no hard evidence whatsoever. I hope the meat in those sliders was tainted.
Wait till WE throw a party on election night. It will be better than the last one!

This would make a great campaign commercial. Democrats are partying and yoking it up while they have sought to tear this Country apart. Do these same people high-five each other at funerals and wakes?
I predict Trump will win in a landslide in 2020 because these guys have significantly misread the American people in favor of their coo-coo bird Communist lefties.

I think in a fair President Trump wins in a landslide.
However, they have stollen the last 3 elections in conservative States.
Over confidence is a BAD OMEN.
I think the Deep State will pull every trick in the book to steal the election.
The election being secured has to be priority number one.

This is all about protecting the “ wet my beak” off taxpayer dollars that many in the various houses/agencies enjoy.
Our tax dollars go right back to them.....
They don’t want this to be exposed, or the public to wake up and realize that the elected officials are in essence the same as the state employees.
