For the liberal media, there's nothing like analogizing President Trump to a murderer. On his MSNBC show, Thursday, MTP Daily, Chuck Todd fretted that President Trump might be acquitted in a Senate impeachment trial, in the same way that O.J. Simpson was acquitted at his criminal trial.
Here was the handwringing Todd:
"I’m having a quick flashback to the O.J. trial, frankly, where the facts were damning, but it didn’t matter. And yet, he was innocent, but everybody knew he was guilty. Are we about to head into a situation like that where he’s going to get acquitted and yet everybody knew he's guilty?"

I'm not so sure about the "real" part as applied to the jury. I remember when the verdict was announced, and all channels stopped what they were doing and focused on the reveal. Everyone thought he was guilty, but I remember thinking, "There's a chance that there will be racial justice done here." That was what in fact happened.
Of course, the prosecution bungled it. Who can forget "If the glove don't fit, you must acquit?" What idiot doesn't know that wet leather shrinks? Well, maybe, in sunny California, they had little experience with leather gloves.

Maybe everybody you know thinks that President Trump should be impeached and found guilty, but you only know people from NYC and DC. The rest of the country thinks otherwise.
If "everybody knew he was guilty," then why couldn't the Democrats find anyone to testify to that in the hearings?

He’s having a flashback alright.
The funny thing about this analogy is that the reason OJ walked was largely because it was investigated by a racist cop who brought a vial of blood evidence back to the scene, a glove that did not fit, a timeline that they couldn’t make work etc. In other words, it gave the appearance that OJ was being framed.
Because the MSMLSD bunch declares him guilty?
