They indicted some Russians for Facebook ads. Why not these guys. So, What is an open case except a bunch of Mueller BS that never was true. If they had something they would have paraded this out long ago, not some 60 minutes political porn.

This is Deep State garbage, lapped up no doubt by most of rotten GOP elected officials.

These are the hacker-soldiers from GRU unit 26165 who, according to the Justice Department, were responsible for "breaking and entering" into the Democratic Party's computers remotely, from Moscow.

Isn't it amazing how they continue to push this fake news???

The DNC had an outfit called CrowdStrike investigate the 'hacked' server instead of the FBI or American spy agencies...Oddly, that group is located in Ukraine...And what did they do with the DNC server??? They hauled it to Ukraine...So who told the FBI that Russia hacked the DNC server??? The Ukrainians (aren't they Russians?_...

Trump and Rudy are trying to get their hands on that server, if it still exists...

The volume of data and rate of download pointed to a Flash drive— several of them. And the server people I’D’d the user, and tipped the DNC.

From there it went to, Arkancide/Democide, which was to deter any others letting out the criminal misdirection and superdelegate voting. All noted at the Charlotte convention, by Sanders people. And point of fact, Sanders was struck in the face by some dem thug, not in public, when the payoff to him to get out, was “explained”. this time around maybe he’ll get another 600K property for fading away, but there are the Squad ultras who might dissuade him.

I’m surprised these Democrats are so upset about relatively low value emails that might embarrass a few pols being made public and didn’t see anything wrong with the US Secretary of State using an unsecured private email server to conduct the official business of the United States. I would think these really smart Russian agents would spend a lot more time mining Hillary’s server for useful material rather than the musing of some local Florida wannabe Congresswoman.

Most of the really damaging stuff was retrieved from phishing John Podesta computer which he had secured with the cryptic password, “password”. If the Russian’s found hacking the DNC this easy I’m sure the Chinese got even more useful stuff that we will never know about because, unlike the Russians geniuses, apparently they weren’t stupid enough to give it to Wikileaks and render the intelligence value worthless.

They could have done an entire 60 Minute show just on Christopher Steele.

The one guy who was there from the beginning creating his dossier, meeting with Glenn Simpson Fusing GPS, McCain, Hillary, the FBI and others an no one talks about him.

He worked for MI6 and as far as I know he's still alive.

You wonder if this goes back to British intelligence.

...the case against 12 Russian military officers accused of breaking into the Democratic Party’s computers, ....
************
Still waiting for the hard, admissible evidence supporting this so-called case, such as: Photographic or other evidence of an unauthorized user at work? Testimony from a computer geek that a hack was traced back to a computer operated by a Russian agent? A wiretap or e-mail of a Russian plotting a hack? Any explanation at all of how each of those Russian officers were selected for prosecution?

That is actually another bit of evidence that calls into question the whole story of Russian government operatives releasing the DNC emails. The Russian cyber operatives are at least as smart as their competitors around the world.

It seems more likely WikiLeaks received the emails from a "leaker" from within the DNC.

"Robert Anderson: So they're both. And in most cases, in most of these units, they're not just hackers, they're probably some of the best mathematical minds in Russia. These are seasoned professionals that have worked their way up the ranks to be in these units to carry out these strategic attacks on behalf of that country."

Yep, just a bunch of dummies. The kind of guys who leave footprints all over the place, and don't conceal their activities like an ordinary 17 year old hacker working out of his parent's basement.

Why would the Russians support their best dupes in the U.S., the Democrat Party and their anti-intelligence clique in Congress? Also notice the unsupported statement that the Republican guy in Florida knew he was “dealing” with the Russians (even if they were Guccifer)? Some possibly good information in this article but also some leftist anti Trump disinformation. Remember, this was the 2016 election. Lots of bad smells from this article. Don’t know how to sort them out or who to trust.

There is no evidence of similar operations against Republicans because Donald Trump and the RNC are much better at cyber security than Crooked Hillary, John Podesta, and the DNC.
