Joe has lots of old baggage, a greedy son named Hunter, and probably dementia.
Joe was quite formidable intellectually when Obama picked him for VP.
Dementia is the biggest worry a DC politician has.
Working Class White is generally construed in terms of political discussion as those without a college education.
Your wife and mother do not fit into that category.
The democrats single biggest voting block is working class whites... They like to pretend they are a minority party and they do have large swaths of many minorities, but their single biggest voting bloc to this day is still working class whites... and they have been driving them away for decades....
It is Trump getting those previous multi generational working class white folks who were born and raised as democrats, just like their parents and grandparents were, to vote for him, that was exactly why he took the upper midwest.
No Trump did not get all of the, and no they haven’t all deserted the party, but LARGE NUMBERS HAVE... most just went inactive, because the GOP really never gave them a reason to vote for them... TRUMP finally did.
No, the GOP isn’t suddenly going to win every working class white person, but that is STILL TO THIS DAY THE BIGGEST SINGLE BLOC of Democrat voters, and The Democrats have been disenfranchising them for decades...
When the party in the 90s drove out all the Blue Dog Democrats, that sealed their long term fate.. Had the GOP not been so beholden to money men pushing Globalism, and ran with the platform that Trump did, they would have flipped this region long ago....
The UBER EDUCATED don’t mind when they go out blaming whitie, because they have been indoctrinated into the white guilt mantra, and raised on critical theory instead of critical thinking.... The working class whites don’t subscribe to that nonsense, they work damn hard for what they have, and aren’t racists, and don’t see any guilt because they are white... they have worked hard for everything they have, and resent people like Pocahantas and others lecturing them that they are the root of all evil in our society.
