Billionaire philanthropist Tom Steyer has qualified for the December Democratic presidential debate after amassing the support of more than 200,000 donors, his campaign said Tuesday.
Steyer is the seventh candidate to qualify for the sixth primary debate, which is set to take place in Los Angeles on Dec. 19.
The six other candidates include former Vice President Joe Biden, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg (D), Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) and Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.).
Candidates faced the strictest criteria to date to qualify for the December debate.
They must collect contributions from at least 200,000 unique donors and register at least 4 percent in four polls approved by the Democratic National Committee (DNC) or 6 percent in two early-state surveys.
Steyer met the polling threshold last month after notching 5 percent in a Quinnipiac University poll of likely Democratic primary voters in South Carolina. With his campaign’s announcement on Tuesday that he had surpassed the donor threshold, Steyer appears to have secured his place on the debate stage.

Booker is like a really bad robot, he is so scripted, dull and monotone. He does not connect with voters and he actually believes people like him. He is like DeBlasio in a way, he believes he was elected in NJ because people like him, but in reality, he was elected because he has the coveted D after his name. Just like DeBlasio in NY
And like most Dems, including Joe Biden, he spent decades in public service without accomplishing anything meaningful. Newark is still shiathole just like when he found it. And has accomplished nothing meaningful in the senate.

These people are crazy and stupid. Stupid, because they have no concept of the emotions behind our love of Christmas and of Jesus Christ. Stupid because most people are deeply into preparations for the winter holidays which includes Hanukah. Crazy because they think we are actually interested in hearing what these leftists think, as if we do not already know.

Listening to Steyer speak is as exciting as watching paint dry.
No Andrew Yang to give us $1000 a month? If I recall correctly, he said we are already past a point of no return with global warming,and have to evacuate low lying areas of major cities.
