Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced on Thursday that the House of Representatives would begin drafting impeachment articles against President Trump, pushing ahead with a rapid timetable that could set the stage for a vote before Christmas to charge him with high crimes and misdemeanors.
Wrapping her announcement in the words of the Constitution and the nations founders, Ms. Pelosi said it had become clear over the course of two months of investigation that Mr. Trump had violated his oath of office by pressing a foreign power for help in the 2020 election. Allowing Mr. Trump to continue in office without remedy, she said, would come at the peril of our republic.
His wrongdoing strikes at the very heart of our Constitution, Ms. Pelosi said in a formal address lasting less than six minutes, delivered against a backdrop of American flags from the balcony outside her office in the Capitol. Our democracy is what is at stake. The president leaves us no choice but to act because he is trying to corrupt, once again, the election for his own benefit.

Now, is the time to expose all of the Coup Plotters. That is all that will stop this ComDem, Media and Globalist Insanity.
Gee what else happens Monday?
The U.S. House committee leading the impeachment effort will hold a hearing on Monday to receive evidence from the first phase of the investigation
No surprise here. What’s surprising is the sizable number on this forum who believe an impeachment vote wasn’t going to happen. If they take the vote, they’ll have enough to at least barely pass it and spare as many DEMs House members as possible (see: Obamacare passage).
Lying cow. Impeach Congress for violating their oaths to the Constitution. Immobilize the militia.
It does feel like all the ducks have been lined up nicely. Now is the time. Let the SHTF.

I agree. It was always going to be voted on. But going in I think the crazed leadership thought they were going to get about 100% yeas. Now it will be only by a small margin.
Im glad Democrats decided to commit collective political seppuku.
They had me wondering for a moment if they would actually pull back.
The President has just received a magnificent Christmas present! Onto the Senate.
Thanks, Nancy, for the Seinfeld impeachment!
I do not trust the senate, even a little
“When you step in the Schiff...you stop, scrape it off your shoe and move on”
Otherwise you smell bad where ever you go.
Time for America to scrape the Schiff from their shoe!
We have to pass the impeachment in order to see what's in it.
That’s cultural appropriation, you racist. Only Japanese-Americans get to commit seppuku. Nancy Smellousy has to just gut herself with a sword, or whatever Italian-Americans do.
Neither do I. Far too many Freepers believe what is right is what will prevail. Boy, has that been disproved time and again politically for the past 60 years.
So you're doubling down? Cool, watch Pres. Trump play his cards.
It doesn't matter.
If the Senate betrays Trump, the Republican party is done.
Finished.
I will work to elect Democrats next cycle, so we can start The Revolution dance.
I’m sure she does pray for him.....to die.
Somebody please help my old dome out on a point. According to our side, the Senate trial will completely expose the ‘RAT’s fake impeachment crap of our President due to our side calling witness to testify, under oath. Why oh why do the ‘RAT’s seem to have NO fear over a Senate trial where ALL will be revealed!? What am I missing here?
BEGIN?
I suppose they will release the "impeachment articles" in a couple of weeks so the talking heads will have dirt to throw during Christmas.
But no vote.
I believe they never thought PDJT would make it this far with so much BS being fire-hosed at him by the dems, the press, TV, etc.
Now they are at the point where they have to vote or go home which is what they are all insane over.
Go home is total humiliation.
Voting means certain destruction in the Senate.
Proglib Walking Dead...
