A further explanation of what is in (Rep. LOFGREN's bill")
There is no reason to call. The bill will pass the house but is DOA in the senate.
Nancy Pelosi is powerless except to develop a list of leftist measures to be carted out when she is charged with doing nothing. The list is of no value except to those that are powerless to accomplish anything
More rolling out the welcome mat.
Thanks yoe.
Much more than a welcome mat’ they’re throwing all the Nation’s doors and windows wide open.
Republicans tried to add an amendment that would require the applicants for citizenship to provide a track record i.e. proof that they had been here working in ag for a long time. That was shot down. Zoe Lofgren pathetically argued that expecting them to keep track of past employers was too hard. And besides, there was the penalty of perjury if they lied about that. Right, like that is every going to be prosecuted.
Another feature of this lovely piece of legislation was that an illegal couldn't be barred from citizenship even if he had prior multiple DUIs. Republicans tried to put in an amendment that would override that. It too was shot down. Zoe Lofgren pathetically argued that, well, we have members of Congress who've had DUIs; are we going to "boot them out" too?
That dumb bitch couldn't not have looked more bought and paid for by California's corporate farms if she'd tried.
By the way, the good guys in this fight were Buck of Colorado, Gohmert of Texas, and Chabot of Ohio.
Sadly, The United States of America has sold her national sovereignty for a middling landscape job and vegetables tainted with e coli.
