I can’t wait until November 2020 and we elect President Trump to a second term, take back the House and add seats to the Senate. I hope to see the end of the Democrat party and liberalism. I hope to see our schools be taken back from the liberals. We have got to take our country back and get some common sense back in place.

It’s now 13 R to 16 D. So we need only TWO more appointments that replace D’s. Then it would be 15 R to 14 D. Conservatives would be the majority.

If we don't have a majority in 9th Circuit Court of Appeals how do we win?

before he leaves office Trump should nominate and the senate confirm judges for every single open judge position in the country. Leave no open seats for the next person to fill.

All this is great but he still has to go another four years to just equal the judges Barky put in.

29 Judges on 9th Circuit Court.

We have 13

They have 16

If Trump gets to appoint 2 more that Court is controlled by Republicans.

Glad we lost them. We needed to clean out the RINOs (most of whom are actually controlled by the Deep State, just like most of the Dems).

Most of those RINOs were advised not to run lest their crimes be exposed. Do you really think Paul Ryan decided on his own not to run again when he was Speaker of the House, on an upward career trajectory, with more power than he’d ever had before?

JMO. YMMV.

I am becoming more and more curious whether or not the G.W. Bush administration and the GOP majority Senate - 2003 to 2007 - failed in penetrate the Liberal majority in the courts, due to a lack of will, or to the choices of the appointments made.

I think certainly lack of will (unwillingness to adopt different rules) was part of the reason, but unlike Trump I think quite a number of G.W. Bush appointees were not of a “Federalist” mode, as are most of Trump’s. Certainly, and primarily, John Roberts has been a great disappointment to Conservatives and often applauded by Liberals.

I read something today where a top Dim was claiming that one result of the Horowitz report is that clearly, to that Dim, there is no “deep state”. I would suggest that given the abuses the Horowitz investigation acknowledges, that only a functioning deep state would have sat on its hands for those abuses. Were there not such a deep state at the DOJ and FBI, the “whistleblowers” would have been cascading out of the woodwork all over those two institutions.

Conversely, the RINOS seem to pretend the rest of us do not see that they are captives of the Democrats and particularly the Democrats’ programs, not their opponents, but persons who simply want to manage the Democrats’ government agendas better than the Democrats do.

From the RINOS aligned with the Dims we get the deep state they both protect and the never ended, never killed Democrats’ programs creating political dependencies propped up by federal industrial and personal subsidies.

Bush rolled over to Senators Boxer and feinstein and the blue slip method that allowed senators to approve judges for positions in their state.

“Bush rolled over to Senators Boxer and feinstein and the blue slip method that allowed senators to approve judges for positions in their state.”

No, the GOP leadership of the Senate - 2003 to 2007 did that; that was their doing, and it is one thing the current GOP Senate leader is not doing.

That is not say that all GWBush appointments were good. Roberts was clearly not good.
