WE THE PEOPLE in the preamble is referring to yes the people and WHY they formed the government.
Go read it again.
So you have no issue with public nudity or sex?
The billboard was an ad for a sex toy store or lingerie. It would’ve been illegal and indecent for the woman on the billboard to walk around in public like that. But a billboard HIGH above a major freeway it was ok. Ugh.
So.... You saw someone in lingerie on a billboard and that equates to full on nudity/sex for you....
I’m sorry. I can’t help you.
Actually it was more than that. But go ahead and minimize the concerns of a parent trying to protect their CHILD.
And no I don’t my 11 year old seeing women dressed in see through(or any) lingerie posing privately.
Gah you men get so worked up that your easy access to porn will be snatched from you.
I promise your beloved naked on display on your computer will never go away. Your self gratification games are safe.
So you are cool with public sex and nudity? Because the government does squelch those freedoms already and conservatives dont complain.
What I am cool or not cool with is none of your business. That’s the whole point.
Ban porn and it won't go away. It'll just become really weird, freaky, and disturbing (and probably with more children involved than ever before).
How did I miss that? Since you're from Texas tell me the law that prohibits public nudity (not sure about public sex so enlighten me). Take your time,I'll wait.
Hate to break it to you, but it already is and in ways that will boggle the mind. What y'all consider hardcore nowadays is, unfortunately, tame in comparison to what little boys with phones have access to now. The Darkweb is there and it's where Saintly men would fear to tread.
Currently, legal porn makers have to ask for ID from participants, have to make sure it’s real, and permanently keep a copy on file, in order to ensure that underage minors are not involved.
If porn becomes illegal, that safeguard goes away.
You can google public indecency laws and do your research.
If you need a SCOTUS REFERENCE, Barnes Vs Glen Theatre.
Otherwise just stop. You’re bordering on ridiculousness with your assertions.
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their consciences. -- C. S. Lewis
