National Public Radio (“NPR”) has historically been criticized for liberal bias. Is it any wonder why, particularly when there’s a money trail from liberal organizations bankrolling an already taxpayer-funded news outlet?

Remove the ‘public’ funds & let them call it “Liberal Radio” since that’s what it is.

When will Republicans ever get a clue?!

So much money, and yet they produce some of the most boring, insipid programming imaginable.

I agree. Although there are several shows that are on NPR and PBS that are non-partisan and good. One of the shows I get here in San Antonio is Austin City Limits.

Neither NPR or PBS should be receiving even one taxpayer dollar. They have become a propaganda machine for Communist China.

If we had a national radio network that ONLY ran conservative content we would ‘donate’ to it too.

It’s time to end all taxpayer support for organizations that only serve one party.

US foreign aide is the biggest scam going on the American Taxpayer.

1) Pass only omnibus spending bills.

2) Just total funding plus 5% to every agency for the agency to disperse where, when, and to whom. No allocations. Just a blank check.

3) Send the monies abroad after aligning foreign kickback chanels.

4) Send the negotiated cut back to American banks thru foreign banks, cleaned like a baby.

5) Interagency shadow government ruins any interference by any means neccessary.

Cut off NPR and they’ll ruin their own audience ratings through endless on-air fundraisers.

But but but...we NEED NPR and PBS!
We NEED to provide the under-represented a presence on radio and TV! They have NO other way to have a national voice!

Clearing throat...

PBS was established on November 3, 1969 by Hartford N. Gunn Jr. (president of WGBH), John Macy (president of CPB), James Day (last president of National Educational Television), and Kenneth A. Christiansen (chairman of the department of broadcasting at the University of Florida).

NET was founded as the Educational Television and Radio Center (ETRC) in November 1952 by a grant from the Ford Foundation’s Fund for Adult Education (FAE). It was originally a limited service for exchanging and distributing educational television programs produced by local television stations to other stations; it did not produce any material by itself.

In the spring of 1954, ETRC moved its operations to Ann Arbor, Michigan, and on May 16 of that year, it began operating as a “network”.

So...professor-founded in 1969 hippie era, funded by the leftist Ford Foundation, developed at U Michigan (Midwest leftist HQ), funded by our fed gov...starve this enemy within!

The continued funding of NPR is evidence that Bush League Republicans really are just Democrats in R jerseys.
So is their support for amnesty for illegal aliens which will result in a permanent Democrat majority.

Why have the RINOs every time they have had both Senate and House majorities, continued to fund NPR and the National Endowment for The Arts? Why? Because they are stupid.
