When I was a kid in the 50’s and 60’s, we had Air Raid drills, sirens, crawl under you desk, run for a ditch and don’t look at the bright light, all that stuff. Truly scary, we could die tomorrow.
We didn’t have 8 years. It was freakin’ RIGHT NOW — remember the Cuban Missile Crisis?!? Real nukes. Lots of ‘em. No computer models and projections into the future. Right now, over here. REAL.
So on the one hand this whole bull squat “X years left” climate thing is bogus and should be ignored. But on the other hand, if they want to believe it, fine, stop whining and SUCK IT UP. We had it a lot worse, and it was REAL.

You are all going to die, unless you become good little commie agitators...... ... and in a few years, they'll be turning in Mommy & Daddy or the neighbors for not using curly bulbs, leaving the lights on, washing clothes in warm water or driving the car for non-essential outings (and with less than fully filled seats).

That is exactly right.
I was raised in Mississippi in the 50’s and 60’s, hot and HUMID. No AC, No Central Heat, Wood/coal burning stove and or a fan in the window, depending on season.
Today’s kids and adults do not know how lucky they are! Even my school didn’t have AC until we nearly graduated!.............
