I lived in the boom towns of Farmington back in 1954-1956 and 1973-1977. So many new families there kids only went 1/2 day to school in 1954-55.

Also the boom towns of Roswell and Carlsbad in 1959-1962.

Life there back then was good.

I signed out and deleted my personal subscription info at the ABQ Journal. When I tried to access the articles, I got the question box. I also accessed current articles with the same result - a question box.

I suggest you try again. Also, I’ll try to pull some of the charts from the article and post if I can get to the jpg (most are embedded within HTML text.
