The resolution was backed by most Shiite members of parliament, who hold a majority of seats

Shiite = Iranian lackeys

How TH did they get in control of Iraq's Parliament??

if this vote holds up, it could mean the end of Iraq

Because they're the majority of the country and when we introduce "democracy" to tribal people, that's what they do with it.

Shiites are the majority population in Iraq. After deposing Saddam, a Sunni, we assembled a provisional government that was majority Shiite. Saddam's Sunni cronies in government and the military got booted, then formed the insurgency.

They got in the same way the Democrats own the cities. If you live or have a business in a Democrat city, you donate and mouth your support for Democrats. Even Trump can identify with that kind of extortion, he was a victim of it for years.

No one will stand up to a terror boss. Everyone goes along with the strong man, everyone roots for the strong horse. Decades of the US trying to be civil snd going through unbelievable contortions to avoid torqing off Iran, even to the point of overlooking Khobar Towers, left no doubt in the locals’ minds that the strong horse was not the US but Iran.

The Prime Minister himself is an Iranian lackey and a Shiite. How much has Iraq cost the US so far? Over $1 Trillion, enough to feed every single person in America for over 7 months.
Remind me why the heck the US is in Iraq again?

...

They’ve always been the majority.

The British tended to control their colonies by supporting the minority population. That’s how Sunnis controlled Iraq.

They have been in control since Saddam was defeated. That was the whole issue with overthrowing Saddam. He was ruthless but he was a counter to the ruthless Shiites who align with Iran.

Middle East is a hot mess. The best solution is to keep them at parity and let them fight each other.

Our next move needs to be build up other nations to counter Iran/Iraq Shiites. And let them fight. And do more covert actions against Iran where we actually kill/destroy key leaders and infrastructure. Get the people of Iran to overthrow their leaders. It’s really the only good way out.

or make it a glass parking lot. But that has some drawback too. Lots of innocent people lost and the US would have fallout from that for generations.

They are a slight majority in Iraq

Especially when the Kurds are not counted and they become a big majority

Well, considering about 65% of Iraq's population is Shi'ite, I would expect them to have a supermajority of the reps. And, when you take non-Muslims out of the picture, Muslims will go after each other just as quick.
