Biden isn’t worthy to shine Bob Dole’s shoes.

I suppose we’ll find out in 11 months, won’t we?

A sad as it is, Biden really is the best the Democrats have this time around.

I’ll go with your thought

Presently, Biden is the lease offensive

That condition will change after he is nominated and Rudy opens the container loads of evidence he was given in Ukraine

We should support Joe Biden for the nomination.

Trump would have a field day with him!

‘He thinks Bloomberg has a chance at being the nominee.’

I do too...

‘I still think we’re looking at a virtual landslide barring some big negative event.’

Trump may very well win the election, but look for a lesser margin of victory in the EC...MI and PA looking like tossups...

‘And if he is nominated, Trump could well carry every state except for Vermont.’

not a chance...

They need another Obama. A guy who qualifies as black but who sounds like a white man. An exceptional orator. Doesn’t sound crazy when he speaks. That would fill all the identity group requirements for big base turnout and for grabbing just enough white guys to win the election.

They no more find another Obama than we could find another Reagan. They are, maybe, once every fifty years type guys.

Name the states that you think Breadline Bernie will carry (aside from Vermont) and we’ll compare notes on Nov 4.

“The Democrat canadate is still in hiding.”

Michelle Obama-Way too lazy for even the no show job she had in Chicago. Probably even too lazy to just show up for photo ops and let Jarrett run things like Obie did.
Hated living in the White House.

Hillary-the Chicago Razorback knows her time is over. The money is gone and the party has moved on. Hillary has a new grift at Queens University Belfast, Ireland. Non salaried but Bill grifted millions out of the place.

Oprah-possible but not likely. Big Mike doesn’t like the Orca so his beard wouldn’t be able to really help Oprah.

Bloomie is the one to watch. Even though once a nominal republican he has spent years championing liberal causes. He has cash to burn. He hates President Trump. Currently tied for third place with Buttgigger.
Not to be dismissed.

The Berniebots are the wild card. When the Bernster doesn’t get the nom this time what will they do? Third party? Stay at home? Go postal on the dem nominee?

I am afraid that Trump is going to go after Biden so hard during a debate that he strokes out and literally bites it on national TV.
In fact, this might just be the Democrats plan to win the sympathy vote.

I have a friend who is generally to the right but not as ardently as I am. He thinks Bloomberg has a chance at being the nominee.

It's not a bad idea I think. Since I think it's true that Biden will lose badly, and the other cartoons will lose worse ... Bloomberg may be their wisest choice because he's probably the hardest for Trump to attack -> he appears to be the only sane democrat, once his 4 trillion ads get out there people will 'know' him. Then he can serve the purpose of Biden (a seeming non-cartoon-progressive-communist anything-but-trump) without Biden's baggage not to mention faltering mind due to age.

I agree with that - tho it must be said that whereas Trump will be 74 in June, Bloomberg will be 78 next month.

Reagan announced he had Alzheimers’ Disease when he was 83 . . . do we actually want to elect someone who’d be only about a year younger than that four years after his inauguration?

I still think we're looking at a virtual landslide barring some big negative event.
There’s a first time for everything; who actually thought that Obama would win before he did? But no sitting president’s reelection bid has ever been defeated by anyone who had not first been a state governor. And the only governor now in the Democrat field is Duval Patrick - which doesn’t appear to be a name to reckon with.

Hell - Biden can’t beat himself - unless he has Jill’s fingers in his mouth and has her ordering him to, “Just beat it”...
