Utah Republican Sen. Mike Lee declared in a heated press conference Wednesday afternoon that national security officials had just delivered the "worst military briefing" he had ever seen on Capitol Hill, even claiming that one official had warned during the "lame" and "insane" meeting that Congress shouldn't debate whether additional military action against Iran would be appropriate.
Democrats piled on, with Virginia Democratic Rep. Gerald E. Connolly calling the briefing "sophomoric and utterly unconvincing." Minnesota Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar, for her part, asserted that she has been "stricken with PTSD" due to recent developments and condemned President Trump's new sanctions against Iran as "economic warfare." (Omar and her family fled war-torn Somalia and spent years in a refugee camp.) Rep. Jim Banks, R-Ind., called her comments "a disgrace and offensive to our nation’s veterans who really do have PTSD," prompting Omar to respond, "I survived war as a child and deal with post-traumatic stress disorder—much like many who have served or lived through war. It’s shameful that you as a member of Congress would erase the PTSD of survivors."
Lee made clear that his response was directed primarily at the classified briefing for lawmakers on the Iran situation and not the White House's Iran policy generally -- but, he said, the slapdash sit-down would have consequences.

I’m not big on Mormonism but you have my respect it’s tough when those in your community drag everyone down. I’m Catholic and apparently we molest children not sure when that snuck into the Creed but look at the current Pope and as fucked up as Mormon theology is you don’t have that. I shouldn’t be bigoted against Mormons as most I’ve met seen very nice but Romney big families and selling out to tech like they have with Microsoft seems to be all manifesting as Mormons being anti American never trumpets
I read a couple articles awhile back regarding Lee’s conservatism which caused me qustions about him..... This ‘display and meltdown’ he put on today certainly convinced me further he’s got his own program and agenda ...(rooted in the mormon leaderships political and foreign policy agenda for this nation and the world)
His display was one of “protesting too much” and then some. Also the ‘appointed one’ to make such a scene.
I can agree to that...only I'll add he's following the mormon elites globalist leadership as part of their overall agenda for this nation and the World. Their ‘church’ members purpose/function is like Scientology....a giant revenue source who funds their Leaderships Global political agenda masked as a religion. Lees outburst was protesting too much...he wanted this administration answerable ‘to him’... It was ‘a briefing’ in the heat of an unresolved conflict... considering there were plenty of Demorats in that room Lees 'expectations' were completely one of personal entitlement.

Well now isn’t that video interesting and very revealing.....so Lee was publically on board with the anti-Trumpers from the get go and obviously one of the mouthpieces for them.
Lee said he will likely side with Democrats and support a War Powers resolution ‘to limit President Trump’s power as Commander in Chief’.....
You would think Lee would have had a grasp of what taking out a ‘key terrorist’ is about without any need for questions of who, what, where or why etc.
One thing is for sure.....Trump is ‘shaking out’ these traitors to the American voters in full view of the audiences!
Same Mr. Lee who is investigated for serious accusations in funds being transferred from there to his pockets (along with the many of other similar pockets)? At one time he could have been a major player. Had the right stuff, but it spoiled. Why? Now is no more than a low rung on the ladder. Selling out our country became nothing more than a money making machine for this strange little fellow.

Speaking of caterwauling, that is generally what this thread has been about through comment 102. Thankfully we arrived at 103 where you have nailed it down without all the accompanied falderal, and wailing about this and that with no presented proof.
Clearly Mike Lee was grandstanding for whatever reasons. The media will willingly provide the open microphone. He has become something other than he presented himself to the people of Utah, as so many other politicians. He is apparently a “never Trumper” which is probably the worst thing that could be said in my opinion. As to his Mormon roots, I throw out another name with the same roots, who is far more what I view as one honoring his roots. Congressman Andy Biggs of AZ.
Seeing Mike Lee’s reaction, I think he has a screw loose. What did he think he was going to get in that briefing? Top Secret information that only a small circle of government officials have access to? I think Lee was disappointed that President Trump did not allow it. He was angry that he couldn’t charge Trump for breaching national security for his own personal gain. That would please him seeing Trump get another article of impeachment.
He must be hiding something really bad...Likely he is involved in Ukraine.
I think perhaps the junior senator from Utah and his machine are also pulling some strings attached to the senior senator from Utah.
