Letter: Romney is a frightened sheep
sltrib ^ | 01/10/2020 | Rick Copeland

In her letter published in The Salt Lake Tribune on Jan. 4, Phyllis Pope asked if “Flippy” Mitt Romney wants “to be one of the frightened sheep or the principled and thoughtful leader?” While I understand her frustration, she needs to remember that Romney is in politics, as he was in his endeavors at Bain Capital, very risk averse.

This question answers itself with only slight alteration: Romney is one of the frightened sheep who wants to be seen as the principled and thoughtful leader.

There, now it is fixed.

Doesn’t he have ties to Burisma?

Romney loves standing on the double yellow line.

I’m glad were not tasked with coming up with an alternative explanation for Romney, because i’d be hard pressed to believe they would get any better.

I think one of his advisors is/was working there.

not to also mention Bain and his son(s).

Utah and the Mormon Church should be embarrassed, this small minded man represents them.

I wish I could go back in time and not vote for mutt again. We had to suffer 4 more of O’Bunghole, without which we would have no Trump today. We would be infinitely worse off had mutt won. That goes double for mclame

"Romney loves standing on the double yellow line."

It matches the stripe on his back.

“Romney is in politics” True statement. Or a better statement might be that “Romney is politics” and that is not a complement.

On the other hand, Trump is outside of politics.

It could have been worse. Imagine if this wimp had become President. McCain+Romney=Obama. The equation that ruined America.

What about Mike Lee and Jeff Flake, as well.

Romney can never be much of a leader because his past sexual perversion makes him too disgusting for many to have anything to do with him, and they don’t think much of anyone who would follow him either.

I will point out that there were people who didn’t vote for Mitt explaining what giving control of the Republican Party to either of those two would have meant.

And that there were and are enough of them that Mitt and McCain never were electable because too many people that are absolutely critical for a Republican win valued border security and halting the replacement and overwhelming of United States citizen voters over a four year White House term.

So the people who voted for Mitt?
They voted for a loser who had already lost the moment he was nominated.
