When voters are given a choice of a four-way race, Clinton's advantage over Trump narrows to 42 percent to 38 percent, with Libertarian Gary Johnson receiving 9 percent and Green Party candidate Jill Stein 7 percent.

Mike Huckabee on Thursday ripped Mitt Romney for calling on Donald Trump to release his taxes, accusing the 2012 GOP nominee of trying to "sink" the party's current presumptive presidential nominee. "I supported Romney, just as I will Trump, despite having serious differences with both," Huckabee wrote on his website, adding that he was "especially disappointed" in Romney over the issue. "He’s not only trying to sink his own party’s presumptive nominee, but he’s factually incorrect and he’s making the same unfair attack on Trump that was launched against him in 2012," he wrote. Romney has been calling on Trump...

Politicians insisting that the latest Islamic jihad attack has nothing to do with Islam have become a familiar feature of the mainstream media landscape, but last Saturday, Boston Police Commissioner William B. Evans went them all one better. Speaking at the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center, Evans declared: We're all Muslims deep down. We all yearn for peace. Evans thus went farther than Barack Obama, John Kerry, David Cameron, and all the other Western politicians who insist that Islam is a religion of peace. For Evans, Islam is not just a religion of peace, but the religion of peace:...

Former Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is holding a press conference on Thursday before the GOP FOX News debate. He will attack Donald Trump – and the millions of voters who support him. The anti-Trump effort being waged by the Republican Party is essentially a fight against democracy. It’s not that this monster has raised himself up to threaten the ivory castles of the blue bloods, it’s that millions of people have stood up and said, “Enough is enough.” It is they against whom the GOP establishment is fighting. And that fight never turns out well. Donald Trump isn’t Barry...

"I said I wasn't going to vote for Donald Trump yesterday and I didn't, and I don't plan to vote for him in November," Baker said, referring to the state's Super Tuesday primary, which Trump won by a substantial margin. Mitt Romney is back, offering to share the sage political wisdom that won him the White House in 2012. Oh, wait. President Obama beat him — despite a sagging economy and terrible approval ratings. Indeed, Obama became the first guy ever to win a second term in the White House despite drawing fewer votes than the first time round. More than 3 million fewer — while Mitt added only 1 million to John McCain’s disastrous 2008 total.

The GOP front-runner said in an interview with CNN's Anderson Cooper that he will "make a determination over the next couple of months" as to whether he will release his tax returns... Donald Trump didn’t make any comments about “Mexican-Americans,” he made them about illegal aliens. Which makes it quite clear Romney believes Mexican illegal aliens have a right to be here and have a right to citizenship and voting, and indeed already are Americans, hyphenated in his speech as “Mexican-Americans,” like the term “African Americans.” The only other possibility is that Romney’s such a lowlife he’s knowingly and intentionally lying about what Trump said when he claims Trump was talking about “Mexican-Americans,” in order to make it look like Trump was criticizing ALL Mexicans in the U.S. In other words, Romney...

Despite copious evidence to back up the connection, GOP frontrunner Mitt Romney has yet to admit the link between the Massachusetts health care overhaul he signed into law as governor and the federal overhaul President Obama passed last year. You can understand why he's declined: Given that Romney is running as an establishment conservative for the Republican nomination, the friendly connection to the rival party's leader and his most prominent policy achievement would be, well, kind of awkward. Most Massachusetts health insurers have temporarily halted writing new policies for individuals and small businesses through a state-sponsored broker, according to a notice posted today on the website of the Massachusetts Health Connector. The agency, which was set up after the state passed its universal health care law in 2006, acts as a marketing channel to connect formerly uninsured residents with plans offered by nonprofit carriers that sell insurance through a program called Commonwealth Choice. The plans are part of the so-called small group market, and pool individual and small business policies. Citing last week's decision by the state Division...
