Iran said Tuesday that dozens of people had been arrested over the Islamic Republic's apparently unintentional shooting down of a Ukrainian jetliner last week. The arrests come amid Iranian vows to fully and openly investigate the firing of the surface-to-air missile that downed the plane, killing all 176 people on board.
But while Iran confessed to shooting the jet down — three days after the fact and under intense international pressure — its president asserted Tuesday that the "root causes" of the tragedy were U.S. actions.
"It was the U.S. that caused such an incident to take place," Iran's state-controlled news agency Tasnim quoted President Hassan Rouhani as saying. The Iranian regime has blamed the Trump administration for ratcheting up tensions with the controversial decision to kill senior Iranian military commander Qassem Soleimani in a January 2 drone strike in Baghdad.

I wouldn’t have any problem believing that.
Some posters have said that we shouldn’t throw any stones because we shot down an airliner over there, but I tend to view those circumstances quite differently.
You can say a lot of things about that incident, but the concept that it was deliberate was not one of them.
That is kind of the way I felt about it, but I admit that since I don’t follow the MSM, it could have potentially come from Iran first.
I just think they were trying to weasel out of it and wouldn’t have come out yet saying it was shot down...I think they were still hoping to disown it somehow when we had people over here saying it was Trump’s fault already.
Was the shooting down of a plane leaving Tehran the capital of Iran filled with people leaving it, ordered ? It would appear many Iranians feel that it was, and no accident.
According to the Koran Moslem clergy have and do authorize followers to execute anyone in their unholy war against those who believe in free will and refuse to become moslem or violates its precepts which includes those fleeing areas they control .

MSM and reporting news agencies reporting knowingly avoid referencing the religious aspect of these conflicts. Portraying the conflicts going on between entities in the area as territorial acquisition when they are actually sectarian. Based on enforcing absolute conformity to a theocracy. That orders followers to adhere to Koranic laws who’s radical theological detestable assertions based on tribal customs because they claim to follow only one god makes them “monotheistic”. That claim and its creed known as Sharia disgustingly has been unquestioned or condemned by leading monotheistic religious leaders like Pope Francis. Which allows followers obey what they claim are Our Creator’s orders which has them authorized by God to execute unbelievers including those fleeing the area they control.
Iran did it!
The American left and the declared enemies of America always seem to speak from the same page. That’s because they are in fact, one and the same.
