Let me see if I understand this correctly; Iran, which has been directing attacks against the United States, attacked a embassy in a neighboring country, and it is somehow the United State’s fault that when we finally took a very minor reprisal against the leader who had been overseeing these attacks, it then becomes our fault that a hate fest erupts that results in Iran popping off a surface to air missile against a scheduled airline flight taking off from Tehran?

It is not the responsibility or duty of the American people to free the Iranians from the medeival misery they are enduring. In the 1960’s and 1970’s, America helped modernize their telecommunications, agriculture, and oil industry. It also provided post graduate education for thousands of Iranians. They have no gratitude, sacked our embassy, fund terrorism and have killed and maimed American soldiers. Iran has been just another debilitating foreign entanglement for the American people.
