I would like my money back too. But instead we all have to pay for everyone else’s education after paying for our own.

I don’t see how you can discriminate between those who already paid their loans back and those who didn’t. Where do we put in our reimbursement applications?
I lived like a hobo while in college. No luxuries, little social life, no Spring Break. Took a real degree, Civil Engineering, and did well with it. If I suspected my loans were going to be forgiven I would have lived high.
The only thing it accomplished is that Liawatha demanded that her slaves not allow the proles within shouting distance.
I have long believed that colleges and universities should have “truth in advertising”. Each degree program should, up front, advise students what persons with degrees in their major can expect to earn in the public sector. Parents should be able to find this, and informed (signature required) before their children enroll.
One of my friends in law school maxed out his student loans and used the money to play the stock market. (Back then they didn’t ask for proof that you actually used the loans for education expenses). He made so much money playing the market that he quit law school his third year, because he was already set for life financially.

And what about the students who worked 30-40 hours per week, WHILE GOING TO SCHOOL FULL TIME, to pay for tuition and living expenses. Were they also suckers?
Warren’s “plans” are simply vote buying schemes for the gib-me-dat crowd.
They harvest them in part to indoctrinate them too...just part of the overall plan!
