1:19 On Monday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “The Story,” Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) stated that if the Senate agrees to hear additional witnesses and grant the subpoenas that Democrats have asked for, then the Senate’s impeachment trial will end up lasting “through April or May.”
Kennedy said, “If we make the decision to hear from more witnesses and to grant the subpoenas that our Democratic friends are asking for, I think we’ll be here through April or May.”
He continued, “I’ve seen the articles that you might be referencing, Martha, that there’s been a change in momentum. I haven’t — I don’t sense it. I still think, that, it could change, but based on what I’ve seen so far, that the vast, vast majority of my colleagues…Republicans, will decide that we’ve heard enough.”

And the Senate will get nothing done and no more Judges will be confirmed; just what the coup plotters want. Who will this advantage on the Dem side? It will certainly disadvantage any Rat Senator running for President.

Senatorial Pres candidates will have to stay in DC. They cannot get out and campaign.

If they make it “go away” (and I think they should) then the Democrats will immediately begin an effort to start the farce all over again.
The GOP needs to make it go away and then THEY need to immediately investigate and indict big name Democrats. Offense is way overdue.
I really worry that the GOP doesn’t plan any action until AFTER the election. We need to win the House. We ned to expose the Democrats TODAY.

Let the Democrats reopen their farce hearings and subpoena as many witnesses as they want. They have said they will continue investigating Trump and may bring another impeachment action against him so let them do it.
It’s enough already.
He should have said, If we call witnesses I will do everything in my power to make sure the Trial lasts until the End of October.
That keeps Bernie and the Fake Indian tied to their desks thru most of the primaries. Not gonna happen.
It all comes down to whether Romney and the other RINOs are willing to torch the entire GOP’s chances in November, and risk a potential wipe out in the Congress as the base stays home; and bear the blame for that for the remainder of their careers.
In the end, I doubt Romney will vote for witnesses if it comes down to it. He wants to serve in higher office...but that will never happen if he votes for witnesses.
This democrat “new normal” won’t end until they are smacked HARD.

Just imagine if Bernie and Warren become absent from their campaigns. Pretty much ends their efforts. Then it’s really just Biden. And 100% of the scrutiny is on Joe and Joe alone — for 10 months.
