Bring Out Your Dead

So far the false positive rate is 100%.

Sounds like it’s made in US. It’s an “investigational” drug. Seems to have rapidly cleared up that patient in Washington. Originally developed for ebola but seems to work on other viruses. China has accepted 30 drugs for testing.

it’s an experimental drug being developed by a US company named Gilead and is not approved for use anywhere in the world except for trials that Gilead provides small amounts to for testing, so it’s not manufactured in bulk anywhere at this point ...

Remdesivir was an investigational antiviral from Gilead biosciences which never made it to Phase III or licensure.

It had some activity against Ebola.

It is known to be active against other coronaviruses.
