If the President is re-elected by a landslide, as Nixon was 2 years before he was disposed of, powerful people will dictate that "he has to go". No one is talking about this. You will wake up to shocking headlines some morning, but for those over 65, it won't be anything like the black crepe decorated US in the aftermath of the JFK assassination on November 22, 1963. Hilarity and high spirits will be openly demonstrated among the influential classes.
What institution of government can resist the corrupters? The Secret Service about which tawdry scandals with drunkenness on duty and prostitute use while protecting President Obama in El Salvador in 2011? Much tougher and more professional police bodies have been easily corrupted many times in history.
This President is correctly known as the Disruptor. We could never realize the wide and deep extent of engrained privilege he existentially threatens until we saw the broad front of absolute revolt against this President. It is an unknown X-ray of vested interesthood. People who seem to be rational and ordinary are shown to be secret elitists by their rabid reaction beyond derangement.
Trump gives some kind of funnybone shock to people you never would have suspected are deep establishmentarians. What "Establishment" is Rob Reiner a member of? Dilbert cartoonist Scott Adams says that Meathead's viral reaction against the President is most characteristic of someone with a profound mental illness. Yet Rob Reiner is an elite, if public, representative of the very people who will do what was done to Julius Caesar and St. Thomas a Becket.
Afterwards there will have to be some propaganda cover proving what a bad man this President was, like the two movies about Huey Long, All the King's Men (1949) with Broderick Crawford and A Lion in the Streets (1953) with Jimmy Cagney.

I don’t see that happening. The feds would capture the assassin and label him an isolated mental case. And most likely say he was a MAGA supporter of sorts. We will believe them, make a lot of noise and as usual go on with our lives. We have drawn so many lines in the sand with “if this happens we will ........... such as if he’s impeached we will........ but nothing happens. Perhaps by stating this we blow off steam?

I have thought about this and wonder if there have been serious attempts on the President’s life already that were nipped and not reported. I don’t entirely trust the SS but Trump surely has his own organization that backstops or shadows them. All of them are, of course, possibly approachable if enough money is on offer but that is probably less likely than with any other group of people.

The upper level is where you have issues even in the SS. When the deep state/establishment/globalists make their attempt it will come from the CIA and they will have a patsy “gun nut” lined up to take the fall. They get rid of Trump and use it as confiscation excuse. I pray daily Trump has his own security people in place with the SS and for his safety.

I agree that citizens would be spitting fire, but who would be the target in such a war, who would be the righteous warriors, who would be the enemies fought against, who would lead them, how would they be organized, where and how would they strike? We’ve had 50 years without a universal military draft so I doubt the average Joe or Jane would know how to fight in the first place. I’m with you on the idea, but the execution leaves many questions.

Perhaps the only way to be sure is to play it rough, like the cartels. Hire only married males, threaten to off their wife, children, parents, siblings, cousins, and pets, if they fail or turn. Yeh, I know, never happen.

That is one of the big issues. My guess is people will randomly hit targets they perceive as enemies, right or wrong. It will start out rather slowly but build in intensity rather quickly. It may even possibly cause foreign countries to get involved, which will not be a good thing. But people who are pushed to their limits will find it harder and harder to stand by an remain a spectator. It is not something I look forward to for sure.
