Anyone care to speculate on the number of armed guards who will be protecting her?
Will she also attend an anniversary marking the torching of the ROTC buildings the day before?
ML/NJ
After 50 years, the score remains the same:
National Guard 4
Kent State 0
My dad said this pretty much put an end to campus protests.
Is she going to remind that maybe if they had guns when facing government?
That and it was a Federal government shooting disarmed kids
She was indeed on both sides. She was on the side of Democrat Johnson’s war and that of the protesting kids.
She was playing both sides to get them killed. That woman is the last person who should be speaking there
“In my opinion there was plenty of blame to go around at Kent State...”
Agreed. And I would primarily blame the “professional” instigators (SDS iirc?) that would go from campus to campus inciting violence, arson, etc. I would put Jane Fonda in that category. Still. Although I doubt she has much sway in inciting violence. Maybe could get some aging hippies to throw adult diapers and empty Ensure bottles.
Is the traitorous bitch going to go back to Hanoi in 2 1/2 years to sit in an AA gun to celebrate THAT anniversary?
I actually hope not - because I’d love to see a line of Vietnam vets waiting to “pay their respects” all over her grave by then. Note that there are VERY few people about which I would say such a thing...but she is definitely on the list.
Sanders or Buttigiegeig might be eyeing her for a cabinet position.
Damn, too bad that you didn’t recognize her...then you could’ve had a real head start on all the people who are itching to water her grave. :>)
Butt, butt, butt-—what if you knew her and found her dead on the ground.
Jane Fonda... still a Communist poster child who hates America, yet has benefitted from the very systems and concepts she has railed against for over half a century. The penultimate example of #hypocricy.
It should be remembered that two of the four who were killed weren't at the protest. They were in a parking lot which just happened to be in the line of fire.
They did have at least one.
Because the protesters fired first.
Like all those cold case files shows, modern forensics changed the equation, and audio analysis showed that a pistol shot from the protesters precipitated return fire from the national guard.
Maybe someone can get her a Triple “A” gun to sit on.
Throwing rocks is not the same as shooting a gun.
As another poster noted, plenty of blame to go around on this one. My only Aunt and Uncle graduated in 1969 from Kent, became welfare social workers and after a few years of watching the recipients game the system woke up one day, looked at each other and said, let’s get rich.
A sad day all around.
I believe there was a bronze statue with a bullet hole in it
Entry hole was higher than the exit hole. The shot came from the protester side
