To all you Trump rally veterans, My wife are waiting at the Sacramento Airport flight to Las Vegas so we can attend our first rally tomorrow. It is being held at the Convention Center which I understand only holds 2500 people. The rally is at 1200 and doors open at 800am. I don’t expect we will get in and I don’t want to get there at 800am. Does Trump show himself to the people outside at any time? The only President I have ever saw in person was Jimmy Carter and I would like to erase that memory.
2500 people?? That’s an incredibly small venue if that’s true. I wish you luck... Hope you get in!
You might not get in but you will still have a great time being with like-minded people outside. Trump’s speech will be jumbotrons outside. Tomorrow’s venue is very small. I don’t know about seeing Trump in person. Security is very tight inside.
I saw that 2,500 figure the other day and wonder if it is correct. The Convention Center is huge. Maybe only using part of the facility? Their website lists meeting rooms of 2,500 and on another page says 7,500. The place has nearly 250K square feet and 10,000 parking spaces.
I saw three live including Trump at a rally before the election. Actually got to ask GW a question from the audience.
Trump is pretty much the un-Jimmy Carter!
I am sorry to say that mostly due to security issues, President Trump does not interface with the crowds, inside or outside, other than to enter, speak and depart, the same way he comes into a venue. A 2,500 seat capacity venue is remarkably small, at this point in the campaign, what with the never before seen MOMENTUM of this MOVEMENT growing exponentially.
Are you sure the venue only holds 2,500 people?
I saw Carter and Reagan in person and GWB in 1994, when he was running for governor. Also saw presidential losers Goldwater and McGovern.
