If humor is more important than ever now, maybe they should aim the jokes at themselves for once? Oh wait, Leftists really dont have a sense of humor, do they?

They're so full of themselves - and so pathetically dumb.
I take great comfort in watching these useless, self-important pieces of S**T go out of business.

Truth and fairness... Not so much.

Their jokes always sound like “Republicans are stupid”.
It’s not “comedy”. It’s just “insulting”.

The Leftist lapdog media are incapable of laughing at themselves, as Karl suggests they should do. They “laugh,” sneer actually, only at us deplorables (read: real Americans).
To: Kaslin
The biggest joke of this dinner is Karl's claim that it is "a nonpartisan event." The media lies, it's what they do. There is no laughing at comedy, their so called jokes drip with hatred, which is seldom funny. As far as bipartisan, are they also trying to say their reports are not biased? Their lies are provable, they are fake, they are phony, they are hypocrites.

If they really want comedians at this annual wake, they should invite the writing staff from Mad Magazine. I hear they are all available now.

I am reminded of the correspondents' dinner scene in Advice and Consent, where the President used the occasion to announce his intention to stick with Leffingwell as his SOS nominee. I suspect that viewers of the movie 60 years ago would have been surprised at the tactic. Today the dinner is so irrelevant that no one outside the Inner Circle of DC will notice or care.

the dinner is so irrelevant that no one outside the Inner Circle of DC will notice or care. Correct, it's just a way to stroke the egos of the pretenders who want something to feel like a Hollywood awards show that they would never be invited to.

DC Chapter had a fun time demonstrating outside the White House Correspondents dinner. One year, we cheered Ralph Nader, third party candidate who took some votes from the Dem candidate. Ralph smiled when he first saw us from a distance, but changed his face quickly when he got close enough to read our signs and hear us thanking him for helping to elect a Republican.
