I have to say that I disagree with Rush about the coronavirus. It is NOT made up and it’s killing people albeit only 2% of cases. S. Korea has gone from 30 infected last week to nearly 600 today. It seems to be concentrated in a cult-like church there, but it isn’t a cold and it isn’t the flu. It manifests as pneumonia and is not to be sneezed at. [pun intended. LOL]

China has brought-in 40 new large incinerators to handle all the bodies in that one province alone.
I’d bet that the dead number over a half-million-plus, and that tens-of-millions are infected; China is covering-up the truth.

I disagree with him (doesn’t happen much) that the Coronavirus is no different than the common cold. I also don’t think there is a survival rate of 98%. I agree with his instincts that the media is overhyping the issue and perhaps using it to put a trap door before the Trump economy in order to put this around his neck the way they did Bush with Hurricane Katrina.

I liken the Coronavirus to the SARS virus. General hygiene and being careful about the transmission of germs from person to person is enough to keep from being infected.

A VP of a large realty company suggested the virus was manufactured by the “deep state” to cause the market to tumble and hurt Trump’s chances at re-election.

There are so many conspiracy theories. I don’t go for that stuff. The truth is enough...that almost 76,000 people are infected JUST in China, and there have been close to 2800 deaths so far. Then all the other countries that have outbreaks are adding to the fear of it spreading faster.

It’s a naturally mutating virus, and it will continue to spread because we each just don’t believe that we, ourselves, could possibly be the next victim. It will die out lit the SARS and MERS viruses did. The fact that it causes lower respiratory problems adds to its danger.
