Have to say I agree with you. Maybe also pick up Maines 2 at-large electoral votes.
I certainly hope so... fingers crossed.
And we have to notice how Trump just looks more presidential and just plain "in command" all the time.
I would like it to be Trump vs crazy old communist goat.
If Bernie's the nominee, I would also look at Virginia as well. Since Sanders plans to massively cut DoD, those northern suburb dwellers will have to take a hard look at their future. Ditto for the NN Shipyard workers and military here in Hampton Roads.
I wouldn't worry to much, the margin will widen as Sanders becomes more exposed. Early polls are not very reliable. In January 1984, a Harris poll of registered voters said Ronald Reagan should NOT seek re-election by a 55-40 margin. Even in early June, Reagan only led Mondale in the Harris poll 50-45.
I think in a Trump-Sanders matchup, what will be remembered after the election is the debate night where President Trump triggers Bernie into a public temper tantrum that craters his support among all but the extreme hardcore left. Sanders is just a seething volcano waiting to erupt and President Trump will find the right needle. Voters will realize that temperamentally Bernie is unfit to serve as President.
No, the only ones who love him are the get all my student loans, car loans, home loans paid off for free and give me free medical care, a free job with all the bennies, retirement, health, dental, good salary, 2 months vacation, 1 month sick time, 32 hour work week (3 day weekends), just to start. They are the 18-35 year old group. “””
This is the payoff for all those “Participation Trophies”...
NOW—are you happy you rewarded a kid with a trophy for NOT competing-—Not keeping score-—Not doing anything more than showing up...
Those wealthy persons Sanders & the others wish to remove money from are those who earned it & are not going to take any of this theft sitting down.
Doesn’t the Constitution actually clearly state that there can be NO TAX on wealth?
Income taxes didn’t happen until the 1930’s, IIRC.
Warren is dead wrong ranting on & on about taxing WEALTH.
In my lifetime, everything I have is bought & paid for with
AFTER TAX income. Pretty sure it is the same for everyone.
There is about 15% of the GOP that needs a hard hour of reflection on exactly who and what they are because they appear to be nothing more than liberals who want socialism on the cheap or are globalist who would sell us out for .50 cents. For all the trouble they cause(McRomney, Ryan, Lee etc...)they are just not worth it for the party or the country in the long run. Be gone in the name of God!
WTH! Need take names and kick communist supporters out of the GOP... Maybe even the country...
These are like the scumbags who fled to Canada to escape retribution after the American revolution... It was that or join their loyalist comrades on one of the gallows set up throughout the colonies...
Yes...VA is close.
Maine’s at-large should be a get again for Trump.
Roger that. Way, way, way back in the 1970s or there abouts, my X (we had two kids at the time), came to me with a form or some type of paper, don’t remember now, but she wanted us to go down and put in the forms to start getting FOOD STAMPS. She said a lot of the Army wives were doing it. I told her in no uncertain terms, that I did not care how little money I made as a lowly E-5 Sergeant with three dependents, that I was not going to go on damned food stamps!!! I said we will pay our bills first, then you go and buy our food for two weeks (we got paid every two weeks in the Army at that time) and then we would live on what was left!! That if we had to cut something else, we would, but I was not going on food stamps. Yes, I guess I was too proud to do it. My mother and father were not rich by no means, and raised four children on just my dad’s pay check, my mom was a home maker, and they never got any kind of stinking government welfare help to do it. They lived within their means and that is what we did. I just would not go on stinking food stamps. And, we never did.
