Republican lawmakers are surprised and disappointed by the results of Super Tuesday, which firmly re-established former Vice President Joe Biden as the front-runner for the Democratic presidential nomination and dealt Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) a major setback.

Dream on, leftards. Biden's a joke. Sander's a joke. Different jokes, but jokes just the same.

It would have been easier winning the house back being able to label every Democrat as a communist.

Sanders is no joke. Like Stalin and Mao are no jokes.

The only setback is that we wanted to see this fight go a lot more rounds.

How much of the push to Biden is being fed by Trump’s support of Bernie? This is either some great 86D chess or a spectacular blunder.

The race is over. As long as the delegates are close at the end, all the Super D’s will break for Biden. They hate Bernie, but the rationale will be that a “centrist” is needed to beat Trump.

Speaking of which, he’d better be careful. That crap he pulled today about people going to work with Coronavirus is going to end up in someone’s ad. I wish he’d just STFU and lead on his strengths. Then this election would be a walk.

He seems intent on making it harder than it has to be.

Trump will mop the floor with either Biden or Sanders. Bernie is crazy and Biden is in decline. In he end Sanders would be able to go the distance but Biden could be like Hillary by Labor Day (needing help getting into the van).

Maybe MSN wants something like this, with Captain Kirk having killed Captain Pike to get control of the Enterprise and Spock wanting to follow suit to get control of the ship for himself (in TOS "Mirror, Mirror").

Baloney. Biden is the one guy I WANT to see Trump run against in November.

Republicans weren’t promoting Sanders because they’re afraid of Biden. They’ve been promoting Sanders because the Trump campaign will be making a strong push for his supporters in November.

The coronavirus panic will be over by the end of the month and nobody will remember anything about it in November. Cases are declining in China and S.Korea. Media will exploit this to the max, but it’s just about run it’s course.

After the convention, expect Biden to make a fake and temporary move to the center. Gotta start planning for this NOW.

Dunno? Berniebots are enthusiastic if they’re anything.
I think with Biden as the nominee there is going to be an enthusiasm\energy problem for the Rats. This will translate into low turn out. There’s no novelty with an old white guy. Bernie has a least the “free stuff\commie” thing going, Hellary had the “lady parts” to make it novel. Zero the “oppressed black man” thing. Joe is another old white guy. An old white guy with dementia, I don’t see a wave of enthusiasm developing over that. We might actually be in better shape vis-à-vis the House then we think.

Time for a little payback and wiretap Biden’s campaign headquarters for a little Russia, Russia, Russia action. This time, though, the allegations of a candidate receiving help from enemies Russia and China will be true.

There’s still a lot of delegates out in CA... the lion’s share of those will go to Sanders; once they’re apportioned, Sanders will have the lead again.

Not that it really matters, though... I think Trump will squash Biden like a bug, anyway.

I see biden wins as an opening for all-out civil war within the D party. The fix is in and the Bros are not gonna sit still. Poca dropping out makes BS’s chances of scoring some key broadside hits in states ahead quite realistic.

The rioting and sabotage alone will be worth the price of admission. I frankly think biden was just going thru the motions, i.e. bidin’ his time before his concession speech. Then he could’ve gone home to cavort in his accustomed style. He’s not up for being anyone’s standard bearer.

Dem propagandists are always trying to fabricate negative headlines for Republicans. In reality, the GOP has reason to welcome either Bernie or Biden to run in the general. Both are horrible candidates and imminently beatable.

I’m not so sure. Mind you, I don’t think is a stock up on water and hide plague but it’s just showing up here and it’s showing up in some very, very heavily populated areas with lots of mass commuters.
