It took me so MUCH longer than it would have even 10 years ago to figure out how much a million for 300 million people
I think it was 150 quadrillion
As for these folks, a buck plus change can be mistaken as a million if you round off wrong :)

Dyscalculia. It’s like dyslexia, but for math. It happens.
But definitely embarrassing when it happens on the air!

two of them there and they both agreed on this.
Their penalty should be no more TV shows for either one -- ever.

You can be horrible at math and still be good at common arithmetic.

"Get your calculators out, America." Calculator needed for that math? If you can't do that math, can you be expected to even be able to turn a calculator on much less operate the buttons and pick the division key rather than the addition key?
This is why liberals believe free-everything is affordable and believe anything a so called 'scientist' is claimed to have said is truth.
They can not render granular facts mixed with simple formulation into truths. They are entirely unburdened by a critical process of analysis. If the cow 10 cows down the line says 'moo', then, well, 'moo,' and that's all there is to it, so long as that cow uses the lefty unconscious buzzwords and sing songy up-at-the-end-of-a-sentence voice, and especially if the cow has a speech impediment and is on NPR.
This is why what passes for us as propaganda and gossip is revealed truth to the lefties. The right cow moo'd it - that's science if you belong to the leftarted herd.

I said to my youngest daughter, "If you had 500 million dollars, how many people could you give a million dollars to?" She answered in one second, "500."
You don't need to waste any effort doing math.

It’s astounding and very disturbing how math-illiterate people are.
I expect it of Liberals. But I’m shocked from some of the comments here how poor some even some Freepers are.

> Michael Bloomberg could have used the $500 million ad budget on his failed presidential bid to give every American $1 million. <
As usual, everybody is wrong here except me.
Bloomberg spent $500 million. The population of the U.S. is 327 million. Now, give means the same thing as add. So Bloomberg could have given every American 827 million dollars.
