I have lived in Japan and some of the risk that the Asian cultures take with food just for the sport of it, is beyond ridiculous. This crap needs to stop. No pun intended. The wild animal markets in China have been the epicenter way too many times. The global economy is in free fall and we are days away from being quarantined. I am so furious with the Chinese government right now. When the dust settles the world as a collective needs to come down HARD with sanctions or something. I respect and embrace cultural differences but when your hygiene practices cause a pandemic every 5 to 10 years there needs to be global outcry.
I’m surprised the virus leaped species barriers. I can forgive the Chinese. No one could have foreseen it in advance.

Seems unlikely they would use their own people as lab rats. Why wouldn’t they do it on criminals or political prisoners in a secret lab?
I suppose that’s possible. But it does not even need to be that sinister. The hygiene practices of the wild animal food markets in China and Thailand specifically, are ticking timebombs and need to be irradicated. It is a global threat, not to mention the utter barbarism of the treatment of these animals. If you have not watched undercover video of this horrific practice I encourage you to do so. It is mind blowing that this takes place.
I watch some Bat virus guy talk about this in early Feb. The normal Coronavirus from the Bats....is about 98-percent of what this virus is. Then there’s this odd added item....with mostly amino acids. He was at a loss to explain the regular virus which had the additives.

When we all know that it really got started via a biological lab in Wuhan.
It would not be surprising if the same animals that were used in the biological lab landed up in that market.
