Authorities said a 911 call was placed at around 5 a.m. after high waters from overnight storms caused the bridge, located at the intersection of Sanes Creek Road and Tee Hill Road, to collapse. Authorities said the bridge was not well lit.
Four bodies were initially recovered, and deputies spent the day actively searching for two more people. The fifth body was recovered around 3 p.m. Friday, according to officials.
Authorities stopped their search when the sun went down and resumed their search for the sixth person Saturday morning.

This is worse than the number of corona virus deaths.
Close all bridges!
So sad
They just updated the article: 3 children among 6 found dead after bridge washes away in Franklin County, Indiana
Every sheriff needs to close the roads until we know for sure every bridge is safe. Once the DOTs have inspected every bridge the roads can be reopened. Those in need of repair should be funded by the federal government which can just dump money on each one.
Driver permits will be reviewed to make sure every driver knows how to safely operate their vehicle and are in compliance with all laws and regulations.
If this saves lives it will be worth. Its time to act before we experience exponential bridge failures.
Franklin Co. is in the southeastern part of the state, on the Ohio border, north of I-74.
The bridge got washed out by the flood after the rain. I don’t think they knew the bridge was gone. They just drove into the creek and were swept away. Franklin County is very hilly with lots of ups and downs.
Awful, RIP to those lost and prayers for their families.
RIP.
