The coronavirus has canceled April Fools’ Day. Countless businesses and websites have decided to forego pranks this year. Meanwhile, a handful of countries have even outlawed jokes related to the coronavirus.
Such steps are arguably justified, seeing as how we’re living in a time of unprecedented panic and hysteria. However, canceling April Fools’ is sad indictment of how society, in an age of mass digital media, has lost the ability to separate fact and fiction.

Define “joke”! Impossible!
It’s still possible to say genuinely funny things. Funny things don’t hurt. Humor doesn’t hurt.
Those a$$holes who call themselves comedians, like kathy griffin, are not funny. What they do is hate and hurt. That’s not humor.
Are they going to put people in jail for jokes now?
It’s April 1. Silly and funny jokes are still in order.

That's a good joke. Especially posting it in 'News'.
Seriesly, I'm glad I don't have to work today, because if somebody tried to 'April Fool' me, I just might remove their face from their head.

If a CNN speaks in an empty airport does it make a sound?
Jokes are difficult in times like these. I told a bunch of my friends a CoVid-19 joke, and not one of them laughed, even though they all got it.
