Instacart allows customers to change a tip for up to three days.

Shouldn't be able to change it at all.

Yup - somebody needs to do some code re-writing. Whatever is chosen and entered is then locked in for the transaction, cannot be changed around.

The tip being revised upward for outstanding service would be useful, but the tip offered prior to service should not be allowed to be decreased. By making the offer up front, it would seem to me to be part of the agreement.
