It would be a high-risk political move to fire Fauci. Critics would argue the only reason he was fired is because he was successful at bringing the mortality projections down by arguing for the implementation of successful measures. So it would be an “impeachable offense” yet again.
So Schiff will have something to occupy his time.... HA

don’t fire him....but control him....the governors closed their states down, not Trump....let them suffer the consequences....Trump should just cancel the national emergency for his part....states may do what they want...
While COVID is real, it’s becoming more clear with each passing day that it’s nowhere near as severe as Fauci, his handlers and the media would have us believe. I would submit that maintaining this fraud, which has been used to destroy the international economy (excepting China) and the strongest economy the US has ever had will end his presidency. I continue to believe that Trump was biased by his germophobia to accept what was never supported by fact, but perpetuated by very carefully crafted hysteria.
