People need to explain bluntly to the authorities who are assisting the governor, such as the police/sheriff’s who are shutting down the exit ramps into the city, that at this point in time, they will follow their orders, but that their restraint will not last indefinitely.

It’s just about time to make these people start taking sides.

The taxes that support police pay and benefits depend upon businesses, mostly small and medium ones, continuing to operate, people being employed in them, and all others permitted to patronize them. Otherwise most of the police themselves may be let go to experience the joys of thumb twiddling and worry at home, like us peasants.
