This well-known Epidemiologist tells us that there has been a huge overreaction to this virus. It is becoming obvious that lots of people around the world are using this for political gain instead of having concern for peoples' welfare. The Rockefeller University releases statement concerning Knut Wittkowski

The opinions that have been expressed by Knut Wittkowski, discouraging social distancing in order to hasten the development of herd immunity to the novel coronavirus, do not represent the views of The Rockefeller University, its leadership, or its faculty.
Wittkowski was previously employed by Rockefeller as a biostatistician. He has never held the title of professor at Rockefeller.

Flu can be worse. Almost half of the ICU beds used for H1N1 in 2009 were children under 18.
And the media was in an uproar against Obama, how can you kill all those children, etc.

Open schools. Let children spread the virus among themselves which is necessary for herd immunity. The most destructive thing that was done was cancelling schools.
Natural herd immunity is where 80% have contact with the virus, show no symptoms and become immune. If an infected person becomes sick, then he cannot infect the 80% who have contacted the virus and must seek treatment as soon as possible.
No need for testing. Testing for respiratory disease is not helpful.
If an elderly person gets symptoms of the new flu, then see a doctor immediately and prevent Pneumonia

I must admit, I am post being simply upset about all of this. It is clearly criminal and it is not Trump behind it.
The Experts need to be totally run out of DC. Let them go to the EU and other socialist bastions for the rest of their lives.
