Isn’t NJ requiring LTC to accept convalescent CCP virus patients in defiance of the Trump administration’s allowance for refusal?

I would like to find our from our Governor Murphy if that was or is still in practice.

Around here we have a few meat markets that process deer - they get really busy in deer season. I suppose they could take up a LITTLE slack (animals from local farm operations.) But even at maximum production (deer season type output) I doubt they could supply over 20% of the local population. (This county presently is a bit under 66k people.) For example, the store section of this type meat market nearest me is too small, and these days regularly has a line & full parking lot outside.

Yeah, some rural counties have rather high per capita cases and / or deaths.

Near enough to here to be in the news, Graves County, KY, (557 sq. miles) has 89 cases out of a population of around 37k. (241.7 cases per 100k pop.) 10 fatalities. Next door, more densely populated McCracken County (268 sq. miles) has 31 cases out of about 66.7k pop. (46.5 cases per 100k pop.) 2 fatalities. Butler County (very rural, 431 sq. miles) has 98 cases out of about 13k pop. (750 cases per 100k pop.)

(Source = https://kygeonet.maps.arcgis.com/apps/opsdashboard/index.html#/543ac64bc40445918cf8bc34dc40e334 )

Nationally @ present we have 928,364 cases out of 328.2 million pop (283 cases per 100k pop.)

I’d argue each county should be handled individually.

North of here we have a 20k acre state park with some 30 lakes & ponds on it sitting useless. Other smaller parks would be fine too as long as visitors practice social distancing & take halfway reasonable precautions.

I think Democrats across the country are going to lose in a landslide next November pretty much everywhere where is anywhere close to being split down the middle. Biden was already going to lose next to Donald Trump. But now with Biden’s fumbles, contrasted with the leadership that President Trump has demonstrated during this virus Panic, it’s going to be a blowout of monumental proportions. Kind of like the media were stunned when Ronald Reagan won in 1980.

We should have been doing this much earlier on. That, and concentrating on the nursing homes.
