Probably to fill the chronically shortage of nurses. It is a tough job and pay is mediocre. I was married to a nurse for a long time.

Pay’s actually pretty good, at least up here in the US. But imports always lower pay.

Just pay American nurses!

Oh, and stop requiring watered-down bachelor’s degrees for basic nursing.

Far better to have rigorous two-year programs than BS BS’s, if you will.

Was she an ICU nurse? Because in our hospital those were pulling $100k a year easy. They cannot get enough of them.
