Dr. Zelenko Under Surveillance: Hasidic doctor touting controversial drug has emails examined by Justice Dept. prosecutors

Federal prosecutors are examining emails between Dr. Vladimir “Zev” Zelenko — a Hasidic doctor touting the controversial drug hydroxychloroquine as a treatment for Covid-19 — and a right-wing political commentator, the Washington Post reported.

Zelenko is currently collaborating with Jerome Corsi, a commentator best known for propagating the falsehood that President Barack Obama was born outside the U.S., on a website that connects people with doctors. Zelenko is listed as a “medical adviser” on the site.

Zelenko has become a frequent presence on conservative media, from Fox News to Donald Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani’s podcast (the two speak almost daily, according to Giuliani) to Corsi’s own podcast. According to the Post, he has been in contact with Rep. Mark Meadows, Trump’s chief of staff, about the results he claims to have obtained from treating hundreds of patients at his family practice in upstate New York with hydroxychloroquine. Zelenko claims that his treatment regiment — which also includes an antibiotic and a zinc supplement — has resulted in almost no hospitalizations among his outpatient clients. However his claims have not been independently verified by medical officials.

The examination of the emails began after Corsi accidentally emailed Aaron Zelinsky instead of Zelenko. Zelinsky was a member of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team, and spent months probing Corsi’s discussions with former Trump operative Roger Stone about Wikileaks. (Corsi was not charged with a crime; Stone was sentenced in February to three years in prison on several felony counts.)

Through the beginning of April, Trump touted hydroxychloroquine as a potential “gift from God” in treating Covid-19. Yet recent studies have suggested that the drug provides no benefit in treating advanced cases of the disease, and in some studies is associated with higher risk of death than other treatments.

Zelenko has remained confident in his treatment regimen, and says he is preparing a peer-reviewed study based on his outpatient use of the drug with over 1,000 people. Zelenko’s patients are predominantly Hasidic Jews who live in and around Kiryas Joel, N.Y.

At least the jackals are starting to qualify their statements about HCQ because they KNOW they will be called on it.

For the record, which anti-viral works with advanced cases of any disease? I don't think any do but willing to be educated. MOST do not. Tamaflu is one good example.

Why would Corsi have Aaron Zelinsky’s email address?

Wow, one 'study' from the VA has morphed from singular to the plural 'studies.' Author doesn't cite any by name or link. Blames Corsi for the birth rumor started by Hillary supporter Berg.

Because Trump mentioned it a few times, and somebody drank some fish-tank cleaner, and because a fake study yielded fake results saying to doesn’t work and kills people, and the scientific studies have either just finished or are still in progress. So until then it’s anecdotal. And because Orange Man Bad.

From the Weekly Standard:

Aaron Zelinsky (Yale ‘10) is one of the least experienced members of the SCO. Zelinsky made a name for himself as a blogger (his blog is currently on a private setting) during the 2008 presidential campaign. He continued his writing after graduating, including an article in 2013 on how courts “encourage leaking.” Zelinsky went on to clerk for retired Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens, who once credited the young lawyer for doing “research” on the movie Gone With the Wind to refresh Stevens’s recollection of the film.
Zelinsky became an assistant U.S. attorney in 2014, and in 2016 received the Excellence in Prosecution of Organized Crime award from the DoJ. Zelinsky is on detail from the Justice Department while working for the SCO. Just this month, defendants in a bank fraud and identity theft case that Zelinsky prosecuted were sentenced to 10 years in prison.
The initial charges the special counsel filed against Trump’s former campaign manager Paul Manafort and his associate Richard Gates did not reveal the names of the attorneys on the case. Subsequent court filings, however, have shown that the Manafort case involves prosecutors Andrew Weissmann, Greg Andres, and Kyle Freeny, seasoned trial attorneys with substantial experience prosecuting money laundering and fraud.

Aaron’s Zelenski was one of Mueller’s federal prosecutors that lied to the DOJ about sentencing recommendations for Roger Stone. He is one of the corrupt left-wing lawyers associated with Lawfare and Benjamin Wittes.

I can’t imagine what grounds they have for investigating Dr. Zelenko, but does the absolutely corrupt FBI need any?

So, given this, why would Corsi have Mueller’s man in his computer’s address book?
