How did he know this? Because of research done by the National Institutes of Health, of which he is the director. In connection with the SARS outbreak - caused by a coronavirus dubbed SARS- CoV - the NIH researched chloroquine and concluded that it was effective at stopping the SARS coronavirus in its tracks. The COVID-19 bug is likewise a coronavirus, labeled SARS-CoV-2. While not exactly the same virus as SARS-CoV-1, it is genetically related to it, and shares 79% of its genome, as the name SARS-CoV-2 implies. They both use the same host cell receptor, which is what viruses use to gain entry to the cell and infect the victim.

If a drug shows promise during in vitro studies, then it is worth pursuing animal and human safety and efficacy studies. But it is way too early to start touting the drug as a cure. I want to see the studies, carefully planned and conducted with appropriate control groups, preferably double blinded.

My “hammer” is my long experience in the medical research field. I want to see the data. If there is no data on the efficacy of a treatment, then it is worthless.

Well its in my opinion about a one world government and power and control. Lets just boil it all down to good vs evil.
We have powers that want to dominate us and bring the USA down to a 3rd world country. China would love to be our overlord. Russia, Iran and other bad actor countries would be happy to be on the bad guys side.
We have a president who is going up against this “new world order” and is fighting for us. If we love freedom and if we love our country it is imperative that we get behind Trump and support him with voting and with helping to get around the Media by sharing this information with the brain dead, CNN class of people.
this Pandemic is a way to show those that normally only watch housewives and 90 day fiance and live in la la land to see that we don’t want or should not trust the “experts” It also shows how easily we can lose our freedom.
We do however need to stick together and realize that not everyone is going to agree on every single point. But like democrats who stick together in the face of obvious lies, we also need to stick together when it comes to voting.
