This lovely lady took the bull by the horns and chastised the judge...and rightly so.

If there was true Justice, they would have found the Racist Judge in Contempt of Court and JAILED him for 30 days.

Luther refused to apologize for repeatedly flouting the order, leading a judge to find her in contempt of court and sentence her to a week behind bars.

The very idea that you could be jailed or prosecuted for not confessing to a charge is un-American on its face. That judge needs to be defrocked, or whatever it is they do to judges.

However, Luther’s release is unlikely because court documents show that she is jailed for contempt of court and not for violating Abbott’s executive order.

Gov. Abbott changed/amended his EO to take incarceration off the table as a penalty. And he applied it retroactively.

Reportedly the TX state supreme court has ordered her release.

This is perfect. It is not enough to just win against the left — there needs to be public humiliation.

Not as some sort of petty partisan vengeance but as a way to promote justice and illustrate the wrong so it’s not forgotten by the public.

She’s still locked up?
I expected her to be freed by now. The ‘order’ was given yesterday.

I’m glad. This judge ordering her to apologize (not for violating some order of his, mind you, but for refusing to comply with the governor’s mandate) and jailing her for refusing was over the top judicial tyranny. Judges should not be allowed to blackmail people into kissing their asses or have their freedoms stolen. That’s not what contempt of court is supposed to be about.

Good. Now put the judge in jail for violations of the Bill of Rights.

One of my brothers in FL made an arrangement with his hair cutter to come in to her shop and give him a haircut during the shut down. He parked in back so the city code inspectors could not see there was a vehicle there. His hair cutter let him in the back door. She said that she only had $400 left in her bank account. He gave her a $40 tip.

“ However, Luther’s release is unlikely because court documents show that she is jailed for contempt of court and not for violating Abbott’s executive order.”

The article is confusing. But the order from the state Supreme Court looks clear enough. They order her released, and I have to believe the county judge has to follow their directions.

The shelter at home edict was a transgression of our American freedom. Those that chose to, and I pretty much chose to venture out only once a week for shopping on my own volition. It was my own personal decision. BUT the government does not have the right to dictate, by law, that we MUST shelter at home. They can advise, only. I am a naturalized American, and I relish my American freedom. Don’t permit the government to chip away at our freedoms “for our own good”.

Certainly a good news hero case.

On FNC last night Tucker and guest said that Dallas had been releasing prisoners, so that alone makes the jailing owner over businesses opening look idiotic.
