Federal Judge Dale A. Drozd temporarily blocked President Donald Trump’s efforts to send more water to Central Valley growers on Monday.
Drozd issued a preliminary injunction in two lawsuits brought against the administration by California’s Natural Resources Agency and Environmental Protection Agency and a half-dozen environmental groups.
Federal Pumping Can’t Increase During May
The order bars the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation until May 31 from increasing water exports from the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta through the federal Central Valley Project.
The suits argued that the exports would cause irreparable harm to species protected by state and federal law.
“Today’s victory is critical, but the fight is not over,” state Attorney General Xavier Becerra said in a statement. “We have the facts, science, and the law behind us, and we look forward to making our case in court.”

Drozd was confirmed by a 69–21 vote in late October, 2015, so it was known that he was a partisan Democrat POS.

Trump is trying to save the farmers in Central Valley.
Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) fought California’s reds when they denied his San Jaquin Valley farmers (est. 40,000 or so) water.
Nunes has been getting his revenge against the Calif. Reds, Pelosi, etc. ever since on the House Intelligence Committee.

These judges have become political pawns. That needs to
stop.

of a sudden the judge is president on a topic for a few weeks
until his ass gets handed to him by a higher level court.
