Yeah, I’m in a rural area of Virginia that doesn’t get much testing.

Looking good though.

Yes sir. I’m 68. I’ve got relatives and friends that have died from all sorts of things from flu in the ‘20’s to War and agent orange. No one is walking out of here. I’ll stay out of the road, the young need a chance to live their lives. They need to get to it. We need to let it fly. We accepted the risk when the doctor hit us on the ass. IMHO. Be Safe.

If the data holds true for another week or 10 days, the governor is a hero.

Yup. It's still a little too early to celebrate given the incubation period of the virus.

HYeah, I’m at moderate risk myself.

It’s not our battle, the young are in the front. Suppport them and carry on is all we can do.

When Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp reopened his state for business last month, he was derided as a coronavirus-denier and a veritable murderer.

Amid broad concern among public health officials that it was too soon and risked a resurgence of COVID-19 cases and deaths, the Atlantic branded the move “Georgia’s experiment in human sacrifice.”

And where were these folks when Cuomo and other governors were ORDERING nursing homes to take COVID patients?

Nobody is going to die one minute before God decides.

Our lives are in HIS hands and whatever He decides in that regard is it.

That said, I would never consider deliberately testing God and putting myself in harms way, but when it comes to things outside my control, well, that’s His call, not mine.

Psalm 139:1-18

O Lord, you have searched me and known me!
You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar.

You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways.
Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether.

You hem me in, behind and before, and lay your hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high; I cannot attain it.

Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from your presence?
If I ascend to heaven, you are there! If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there!
If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me.

If I say, “Surely the darkness shall cover me, and the light about me be night,”
even the darkness is not dark to you; the night is bright as the day, for darkness is as light with you. For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb.

I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.
My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.

How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them!
If I would count them, they are more than the sand. I awake, and I am still with you.

That's a very beautiful prayer, metmom. I haven't seen that one before, thank you for showing it to me.

To be honest with you, metmom, it feels like God is somehow pushing me to go out in the sun and exercise with my dogs. I say this because when I do this, it make my spirit soar. It's really not a small thing, it feels like a caged bird freed and flying again first time in a good while.

I don't see, feel or detect any danger around me, but I did feel a sort of depressing feeling setting in on me from all of this madness.

When I took my dog to the river, it washed away my fear. I could feel it leave me. It was amazing. I think a tear or two may have been shed, but I'll deny that in a court of law. I knew the fear would be back, but what I didn't know is that only some of it came back. It wasn't as thick as it was before.

But beyond that, I have simply been exercising myself and my dogs on the track in the evening, walking about three miles total, feeling stronger, healthy and confident. A simple expression of freedom is Freedom. A little of that goes a very long way.

This is a pic from our walk this evening. Look at that face. She is so happy, and that happiness is infectious too!

We are Gods creatures. He has given us knowledge and free will. We are subject to nature but aligned with God. A good Christian tempts not fate, but Shirk’s not his duty. We are in the masters light. We should stand solid for our brothers and sisters. We Hold These Truths to Be Self Evident. We live free by God’s will not man. The Rate things are going we may have to prove it again. Blessings for my sisters and brothers, live safe

Psalm 139 is one of my favorites.

I feel the same way you do when I go to FL.

I feel so free and alive. I LOVE it there, especially walking on the Gulf beaches. I sure miss it and do not expect to get back there any time in the near future, if ever, depending on God’s plans for my life.

However, I am very grateful for the times we did have there.

Beautiful dog!

Of course, as a proud mother to two gorgeous, intelligent dogs, every dog is beautiful.

I also have a gorgeous Maine Coon cat who, by the way, is the boss of everyone in the house, including the dogs.

I know that you have been very worried about the CCP virus but, by going outside, you helped your immune system because you acquired some needed Vitamin D.

Just playing with your dog will help you immensely.

Yesterday, I was outside, raking the hated sweetgum balls out of our driveway. It was a miserable experience, especially for my back, neck and knees. Plenty of Gabapentin was needed.

But our dogs had a squirrel cornered and I had some great laughs at their antics. Watching them helped make my chore go by faster.

Tomorrow, I have the honor of raking the sweetgum balls out of the front of our yard. There are no words to describe how I HATE Sweetgum trees and balls.

Hopefully, my doggies will entertain me again, lol.

I’m glad you are getting rid of some of the fear and enjoying yourself.

It’s been two years since I have been to my favorite Florida beach. It was at the Dog Beach in Pensacola. Taking your dog to the beach is truly something special, but there’s only one little stretch of beach you can do that at.

This is one of my favorite internet pages. You can watch the Navarre Beach anytime you want to day or night. I used to check this cam for rideable surf and other conditions when I went more regularly, but it’s great, like having an open window to the beach. Hurricanes are interesting to watch on this cam too, at least until they knock the cam out.

I’m not going to lie, they scared the flippin’ crap out of me with this virus. If it had turned out like they said, I’d probably still be scared, but it didn’t. Now it is apparent that this is being used as a political weapon.

I feel very bad for people who have Democrat governors. My best friend is one of these people, and his life is being wrecked by this in Louisiana.

Fear is a very difficult state to maintain. It’s fleeting, unless there is a constant source of the fear, such as an actual threat. It’s also a difficult state to live in. It takes a toll. But there has to be a legitimate source for such an emotional response, and while I do think the virus is real, I don’t think it’s having the effect on our country that they described initially.

What has kept me sane through all of this is my dogs. I know God sent them to me to help guide me, and that’s what they do. I also have a cat, big, old, fat cat named Stormy, who is the boss of three German Shepherds. It takes a very confident cat to live among three large dogs. She will sleep upside down on her spine, belly exposed, legs splayed in all four directions right in the middle of three 90 lbs dogs.

These guys and their constant antics have kept a smile on my face and joy in my heart, and I love them for that!

Thank you, Equine1952, for those beautifully stated sentiments.

I think today when I walk, I will pray for the Freedom and safety of those people suffering in blue states from the lust for power and control over others.

It’s one thing to have to face a virus, but it’s another thing when you turn to face it and get stabbed in the back by a leftist government just looking to victimize you for their gain.

Evil is on the move in 2020, yet we must prevail.

Maybe getting out into the sunshine and fresh air is good for you?
Just an idea.

Why, that’s crazy talk! Huddle inside. It’s science!
