Good idea...until you find out it will cost $200 billion a year for a budget. I’m in favor of taking FR to the next level, only Jim is sick of begging for money.

There is bias and everyone knows it. No panel is needed. If there is one, it won't hurt, but what is it going to achieve? I don't believe in government telling businesses how to operate. So I hope it doesn't go down that road.

I think what is needed is a paradigm shift and it has nothing to do with social media. People have a deep desire to be social, hence the popularity of social media. And by the way, conservatives are people too with the same desires. So why not do the conservative thing, be social but do it better? Better than who? Progressives, the same ones that make FB and Twitter intolerable.

As conservatives we go around all the time saying we know the better way. We recall the days of the past and we want things to get back to those days. Make America Great Again, that implies it was once great. And it was. Seriously ask yourself the question, was your social life once greater before social media? Did you enjoy better social connections in the past?

I cut the cord on FB and Twitter during the Hussein administration. Don't miss it a bit. I'm just as informed now as then. My social life? It's better now. I have more friends and we socialize and entertain each other in person. The old fashioned way.

Get together with friends and family. Turn off the cellphones and talk. Don't rely on technology. Use your mind. Use your vocabulary. Hone your speaking skills instead of limiting things to the length of a tweet. More importantly see how people react in person. Sense their emotions. There is a fidelity that you can't get online. Let the progressives live in their lonely worlds online. Sure we can use tech, but use it for the right purposes. Use tech to say, come on over for dinner or drinks and leave it at that. Tell that Karen of a wife that company is coming, and then do it and keep doing it. If you meet someone new, invite them to do something in person. That family you say hi to at church but not much more, invite them over for a BBQ. Expand your social network the old fashioned way, the conservative way and your social connections will have greater meaning. When it comes to politics and getting out the vote, a personal face-to-face ask is a hell of more effective than a tweet. So be a conservative and be social the way you have always known has been best.

One other thing, get over being afraid and ask people to do things - even strangers.

No, but they do have the right to pull their broadcast license. The public has a right to know the truth, and the RATagandists just ain't getting it done.

Calling the media biased for the left is like calling the Dallas Cowboys’ cheerleaders biased for the Dallas Cowboys. They aren’t biased. They are on the same team. They wear the same colors and share the same goals.
