I would be curious to know how much green tea the average Japanese person consumes. Quercetin is a zinc ionophore found in good quantities in green tea.

Also why didn’t Seoul get a huge outbreak after South Korea was one of the hardest hit countries in the beginning? Ditto for Rome.

Quercetin is a zinc ionophore

I have a bottle of Quercitin in my medicine cabinet -- just in case.

The Wuhan flu has taken a terrible toll in the USA, but is it anywhere nearly as bad per capita as was the effects of the Chinese virus in Italy?

Perhaps those other countries secured their care centers.

It seems that at least four, and perhaps as many as six, states thought that it was a great idea to quarantine people in nursing homes who hadn’t been residents previous to being diagnosed.

That would tend to magnify things greatly.

While that may not be the dumbest idea ever, but it at least deserves honourable mention.

All the family homes I stayed in Japan were extremely clean. Leaving your shoes at the door helps. Since living there in late 60’s we’ve never worn our shoes in the house.

Were there any superspeaders in America deliberately contaminating surfaces and crowds?

Yes, and part of their good hygiene is wearing masks. In the winter time a good percentage of people wear masks to nurse a cold.

Another reason is perhaps no country faces as many natural disasters per year as a Japan.— earthquake, typhoons, tsnamis, volcanoes, and high rain mud slides are the things they put up with.

Being prepared for disaster is inbred.

Many people won’t want to hear this, but in Japan, Singapore and S. Korea, people wear masks.

I’ve been taking it since the second week in April, along with extra zinc and grape seed extract. Every little thing that you take that increases your odds for a good outcome if you come in contact with the CCP virus is worth it. Whatever works!

“Also why didn’t Seoul get a huge outbreak after South Korea”

Easy to get tests (they had the first drive thru testing, I believe) and aggressive tracking & tracing.

New Zealand pretty much stopped the virus in it’s tracks mostly by not letting the infected in. They closed down the borders and mandated testing & quarantine of anyone coming in for x amount of days.

A daily Centrum Silver, as well as additional Vitamins B12, C, D3, and Zinc.

I’m holding off on Quercitin for now.
