I suspect that’s dependent on the belief covid19 will never go away or be controlled via a vaccine.
So masks were important when we had Wide spread of the disease across these leftist states with thousands of new cases daily, but now once it’s starting to die out in the case numbers are drastically lower suddenly masks become a life-saving device everyone must wear. If they had insisted On masks back in March, I would have said that might be a good idea but to wait in this case until nearly the end of May it shows it is just about control not the disease.

I was impressed with how much Freepers then cared about the right-to-life of an individual person on life-support. IMHO, those Freepers were right, and the anti-maskers here are dead wrong.
Even if you don’t think masks help; why give the leftists such an easy P.R. victory? No doubt the pro-Biden trolls here are cheerleading the anti-maskers.
I saw that. Another example is these restaurants starting to reopen in these masks required states, they were pretty much I’ll say we’re now we opening however here is a page rules you must follow before we even consider letting you eat at a restaurant. Most of them go along the lines of pull into the designated parking spot, call us while staying in your car and waiting till we come out to you, they will escort you, once we verify you’re wearing a mask to your table, then will tell you can take your mask off once your food arrives, etc.
The only people who willingly go through that are the angry leftists who enjoy punishment in force compliance, most normal people what end up saying screw it. Personally, while I would love to go back out to a restaurant again I want to go out and enjoy myself and not jump through a bunch of hoops just to make someone feel good. Once things get back to normal, and not the new normal, if these places are still around then I will go back out to them until then let them suffer.

The slave mask is a visual, tangible symbol stating that all of the Democrat's unconstitutional "lock downs" and "emergency orders" have a legal basis and validity.
If the masks go away, the psyche of the American public turns to recovery, freedom, and rights.

Glad somebody said it... The sheltering lockdowns did work, the masks do help, and social distancing does help. This ultimately won’t be anymore dangerous than the flu, but til our bodies have antibodies many are at risk.
The problem is the degree to which the left pushes things, like lockdowns forever, wear a mask in the shower, etc. This is their Cloward and Piven moment, and they know it.

Mandatory masks can also be about “follow the money” elected Democrats and RINOs having stock investments in mask manufacturers.

In my opinion, any parent who would drag their child around Disney World in the Florida heat and allow them to be muzzled by a mask should have their head examined.

Even a home-made cloth mask greatly reduces the viral load in crowded indoor places -- such as stores or offices. Civic-minded people, who want the economy to restart without unnecessary deaths or suffering, voluntairly wear masks to protect others.
Why are you so insistent on handing the Dems an easy P.R. victory?
In other words, using a face mask restricts proper and healthy breathing.
