CNN network president Jeff Zucker said in a company-wide memo Wednesday that the majority of CNN employees will not return to the networks office this year due to health concerns stemming from the Chinese coronavirus, according to a report.
Zucker wrote, as was first reported by The Hollywood Reporter:
We expect that the majority of you will not be able to return to our offices this calendar year. What happens after that is still a question mark, as well. No doubt the world, and our understanding of the way COVID-19 continues to shape our lives and our work, will change countless times between now and then. But I know it is important as you all make decisions for your own lives and your families that you are equipped with the most honest and transparent information we can give you.

“I planned on retiring at the end of the year. But this WFH thing is saving me three hours a day and a tank of gas every two days in commuting, not to mention downtown monthly parking. Im making out like a bandit on this thing.”
One of our SIL’s has thyroid cancer and is being treated as an outpatient. Her travel was similar to yours, and her pickup was being filled @ about the same rate.
Her husband told her bosses that she needed to retire to recover. The company retrofitted one of their spare bedrooms into a great office at their expense. This happened about 2=3 weeks before the Corona crud hit. They had wanted her to come in once a week. Her husband was against that. So now she is full time at her home. She is negotiating being off on Wednesday to shop and do things without the normal crowds.
One my wife’s longest time friend retired the week before the CV as a the office manager for 9 dentists and 20 techs.
The head dentists are now offering her the same pay for 4 days at home and one trip a month to sign stuff and install an office in a bedroom. Her travel was terrible, about 2+ hours each way, if there were no wrecks or construction.
She is seriously considering doing the home office routine.
That will be handled by Rajiv, who sits all day in a cubicle in Bangalore. Rajiv types quickly, has a great imagination, and is a committed Marxist.
The media will continue to cower in their basements until the day after the election. They need to foment fear and not allow any hint of normalcy to emerge.
How does Zucker still have a job?
Thanks for the good news.
I guess we can cheer for AT&T a little bit.
Good point - and it absolutely, positively, has to continue up to the November election.
CNN couldn’t be telegraphing The Narrative until the election any more clearly.
GOOD...EXCELLENT...
Come election in November, we won’t have to put up with their moaning and groaning bull shit...
CNN is nothing but a TURD RATED NETWORK ANY WAY...
SO THAT IS GOOD NEWS...
NOW, does that mean Anderson and lemon boy, and wolf is off the air too????
LET’S ROLL VOTERS...DJT IN NOVEMBER...WE HAVE THEM ALL RUNNING SCARED....LOVE IT..
Stay away and off the air forever...if I wanted fake news there is Venezuela, Cuba, Norks, China, EU, and a host of others...
>>Good luck finding future employment.
May the same good fortune happen to ABCBS & NBC liars.<<
I am retired, but I would not wish unemployment on my worst enemy.
When is this little prick gonna lose HIS job?
I am retired, but I would not wish unemployment on my worst enemy. They would. They would not only wish it. They do all they can to encourage it.
Wake up!
I think it’s important they should sever electronic contact also. You never know what you can catch over the internet or phone! CNN news, such as it is, should be by courier only. Until then, CNN is unsafe.
